New theory test 2014

Official theory test questions are not anymore published. The UK driving theory test changed starting from 1.1.2012.  the Driving Standards Agency announced that the official multiple choice questions used in Theory Tests are not published anymore.
These theory test changes will affect to all learner drivers and motorcyclists, trainee ADIs and LGV/PCV drivers.

Changes in theory test Revision and Comprehension

The Driving Standards Agency will make available a parallel set of driving theory test questions to help candidates prepare for their test. These questions will be known as the official revision questions. These revision questions will cover all the same topics but will be worded slightly differently from the official questions which candidates will be shown in the actual driving theory test.

New theory test required more preparation

The pass rate for the official DSA theory test is at its lowest in 5 years. The DSA believes that this is because learners aren’t preparing properly. Around 1.5 million car Theory Tests were attempted in 2009/10  with almost four in ten driving tests failed, the lowest pass rate on record since 2004.
